About this ebook

This a book o poems about my true life experiences. Some may seem fictional, but each one is true. Some have said to me that I have an odd, strange and peculiar side to me.
My suggestion is to buy this book if you believe in the spirit of the ancestors and that there is more to life than what you feel, hear and see.

Author

Bee Jay Caldwell

Betty Jane “Bee Jay” Caldwell, a native of Huntersville, North Carolina, is living in the retirement home she helped to refurbish. She is a 1994 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools retiree who has served in many occupations since retiring as a secretary. Currently she is a storyteller who loves to share her insight of her ancestors and those enslaved in Colonial America. She has been attached to former slave plantations where she is a costumed interpreter telling the story of those who did not have a voice to tell their own story. One of her favorite sayings is, “treat others as you wish to be treated.“ The legacy she wishes to leave behind is “that I was a fair team player.”
