THERE IS A PRAISE IN ME

There is a praise in me

I'm sure you all have seen

When my song comes on, I lift my hands

I begin to dance

Sometimes like it's my last chance

I praise Him for what He has done

For giving me 4 girls & 1 son

For the victories in my life He has won

For the work in my life that He has yet begun

For the weight He lifted, because it weighed a ton

I praise Him for allowing me to see

I am much more than my failures & more than I ever desired to be

As long as I continue to let Him lead

And remember, Whoever Christ sets free, is truly free indeed.

I praise Him for helping me set good

Examples for my seeds

And showing them with God & determination, they will always succeed

Don't forget to pray, & that means sometimes you have to get on your knees

I praise Him for forgiving me, loving me, providing for me, holding me, & never leaving me

I praise Him for the successful surgeries

& purging me

From the negative emotions that were designed by the enemy

To kill me

For replacing the hurt & shame that was within me

With joy, peace, and serenity

I praise Him for the rising of the sun
