About this ebook
Write Out marks Wyann Vaughn's second book of poetry written to encourage the idea of trusting the process. Write Out serves as an example of writing freely to therapeutically release stress. Write Out is not showy nor does it seek to impress; it is authentic and snapshots real moments in hopes that readers may feel inspired to do the same. If a reader dares to artistically let go and just create, then Write Out has successfully fulfilled its purpose.
Wyann Vaughn
Poetry author Wyann Vaughn comes from soul music royalty. Daughter of Grammy award winning Wanda Vaughn of the sister group "The Emotions" and Earth, Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove" writer Wayne Vaughn; Wyann brings timeless R&B vocals to stages. As a self-proclaimed "edutainer", Vaughn also struts her stuff with scholarly confidence having earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from California State University, Long Beach (GO BEACH!). Vaughn also teaches and academically counsels at Pasadena City College's Ujima Program. Outside of carrying on the family legacy by touring with her mother and aunt as the third member of The Emotions, Wyann belongs to the supergroup The Pollyseeds under the direction of Terrace Martin and is a 2x Grammy nominated singer and songwriter who is affiliated with such works as Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly" and Dr. Dre's "Compton". Vaughn was also hand selected by The Good Doc himself to cohost "The Pharmacy with Dr. Dre" on Apple Music's Beats1 radio alongside west coast hip hop legends Xzibit, DJ Pooh and others. Vaughn most notably developed her love for poetry at 16 years old. Studying Maya Angelou for an eleventh grade AP English course, Wyann presented original poetry alongside Angelou's. The response from her instructor was so overwhelmingly positive and encouraging that Vaughn felt motivated to continue writing and reciting her poetry. In 2008, she self-published her debut poetry book, entitled 13, and gifted her eleventh grade English instructor the first publicly available copy. While singing and songwriting captured Wyann's heart first, poetry may have the strongest hold on her heart. Vaughn's music fans also find the passion in her poetry striking and undeniable. Be on the lookout for her most recent poetry works, Write Out and Seasoned, as well as her debut album.

Thank you for creating this, your "write out" served as the solution to understanding life in such a magical way. I use to always say "who helps the doctor when their sick.", you've just answered a lifelong question, and healed me in 1 night. For that I could never repay you.❤
