About this ebook

There are only so many ways to describe being distressed, and this book could be a friend to relate to. It depicts a journey of losing oneself in a tough battle, and slowly gaining back the strength to be whole again.

This poetry collection can be a reminder for everyone that it is perfectly fine to feel miserable at times, but also that self-love is the best remedy for any emotional ailment.

To those who have loved until they burst,

and to those who have tried

to stitch bravery back to their bones

to find themselves after being lost,

and to those who have left love unattended.

    Fall

    A Secret

    I’ll tell you a secret

    that I never shared

    even to the wind

    and the sound it made

I’ve heard what you never said,

    clear and complete

    But through million little lines

    that make your face shaped,

I see the reason why you’ve been impaired

I can see the truth that you tried to hide

I see it clearly, rolling with the tides

    I’ll tell you a secret

    that I never shared

    even to the tears

    that I have just shed

I feel the crack of my very heart

I can feel the pain as the pieces stab

I feel the castle of my pride collapsed,

as you waved goodbye and you walked away

as you disappeared from my troubled way

    I’ll tell you a secret

    that I never shared

    even to the rain

    that made it all wet

    If I knew you’d hush

    when I asked you that,

    I’d still feel your love

    that I never had

    Anchor

    I’ve harbored my ship

    to your sea,

    only to find

    my anchor,

    dull and rusty

    God, please

    let me sail again

    Third Stage
