    Introduction

This book is dedicated to my late husband who lived with Adult Onset Diabetes for many years. He was a wonderful husband and father, and he spent his whole life working and caring for them. He developed diabetes in his late 40s and lived with it and fought a brave battle against it every day of his life thereafter. Living with someone for so many years with this disease, I learn a lot about diabetes and wanted to write a book about it so that I might help someone else that is battling diabetes daily.

There is no cure for diabetes, but you can live a long and happy life if you just learn to change a few of your lifestyles habits, and practice them every day.
