All about me
This is my life. It's all about me.
I'd murder my own mother, just to get on TV.
Can't sing, dance, act, speak, think or write,
But I demand to be famous. It's my birthright.
––––––––
I've got no talent. I've achieved even less.
But I'll betray my best friend just to get in the press!
Instagram. Twitter. Snapchat. Facebook.
Every last detail, flaunted like a casebook.
––––––––
Auditioned for a band. Didn't get selected.
So I slept with the singer to try and get detected.
Sold my story next morning to the tabloid press.
The band asked me not to. But I couldn't care less.
––––––––
Got a spot on the latest reality show
With a room full of people that nobody knows.
Playing a game of who can shout loudest
Egocentric and vacuous, that makes me proudest.
––––––––
While a nation of zombies keeps taking notes.
I'll gauge out my eyes just to get more votes.
I'm the best! Me! Pick me! Please!
My obsession for attention is like a disease.
––––––––
Win or lose, it doesn't matter how.
I'm born
