Clarke, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”, which you could use to justify including fantasy with sci-fi, if you like. I would not be surprised if some Scottish music was included, since I think greater care is taken to distinguish Scottish from Irish where one or both groups are a major presence."
