About this ebook
Light poetry on nature, gardening, cats and life in general, tempered with a few more serious pieces. Most of the poems are in rhyming verse, but are not formal and don't require an English degree to understand.
Kate Tompkins
Kate Tompkins finds her BA in anthropology comes in useful for story ideas, especially in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Sometimes the cat will let her off lap duties for long enough to actually write them.

Dedication
To the four furry little muses who have shared my life,
CatCat, Davey, Willie and Pipsqueak.
The Fickle Muse
Ihave a muse who helps me write,
Though she is rather fickle.
It seems that when I need her most,
She leaves me in a pickle.

And leaves me rather dizzy.
WITH PEN AND PAPER in my grasp,
I can’t seem to recall,
What came to mind so easily,
With none in hand at all.
