Intro:

The house has always been there. While it went through renovations it had always been in the same family, passed down through the generations. Some say it was cursed. Others say that it is a gateway to hell. The family that had it built was the Tepesh family. It was said that they made a deal with the devil to get funds that the family would always had however they would have to keep the house up for all times.

Rumor has it that there is a missing heir or heiress. The house is said to have more than its fair share of ghost and the dead in it.

Chapter 1 - 1950

The last known family member of the Tepesh family that owned Rose had passed in 1910. They wanted the house used for good and the legends said that there was no way that it could be destroyed until 2010 when all the heirs and heiresses had been revealed. The choices had to be made before the house could be destroyed or anything of that nature.

The house had been used for a mental health hospital until the corruption was found out. There had been a fire and all the items that had been used to hurt the patients were destroyed. All the Tepesh family items were left untouched.

The town wanted to get the property of the house. They wanted to use it for several reasons. The church wanted it to build a new church on it. The city wanted it for a new school. The problem was that the town didn’t own it. The legends of the house say that there is a possible living heir or heiress in the state. They would have to wait until 2010 to see if anyone arrived to claim it.

With the house, having been recently closed as a mental hospital since there had been abuse to the patients. The house had caught fire on the inside and everything that had been used to hurt the patients burned to piles of melted metal. All the patients had died as well.

The interesting thing was that none of the Tepesh property that was in the house hadn’t been damaged at all. Some of the old scrolls weren’t even smoke damaged. The house seemed to protect itself from the damage and stay up to date with the modern times and needs.

As the town grew the house had always been on the outside of the town. Everyone called it Rose Manor. The kids had used it as a dare
