    Chapter One

Becky shifted uncomfortably in the plastic chair she was sitting in. For the millionth time she glanced around the waiting room and looked at the other women absently reading magazines or playing on their phones. What Becky wouldn’t give to be that carefree about this job interview. The truth was she desperately needed this job. Six months out of work and her bank account was empty. This was her last chance.

Last week, she had broken down and told her best friend Jen that she was at her wits end. She was sleeping on her friend’s couch. Her cellphone service had been turned off and she was ready to default on her student loans. After calming Becky down Jen had told her about a job opening at a local business that Jen’s cousin had told her about.

A new business had just opened up on the outskirts of town and they were looking to hire an entire staff. Jen wasn’t quite clear on what they sold but her cousin had made it sound like a gourmet all natural food processing plant. They were looking for secretaries, processors, farm hands, you name it. It wasn’t the job that Becky had been dreaming of but she would happily work on a factory line if it meant she could pay her bills. And so Jen had called her cousin and put in a good word for her.

Sitting in the small reception area Becky took a deep breath and tried to relax. There were plenty of positions open, she reasoned to herself, and Jen knew someone working for the company. Becky was a sure thing. If she could calm down enough to nail the interview.

Becky Johnson? A small woman in a tight blouse called out. She had a huge smile on her face.

That’s me. Becky called out in what she hoped was a cheerful voice. The woman beckoned her to follow.

Becky walked behind the silent woman down a narrow hall. Looking down at her outfit, Becky cringed. She had wanted to look professional and so she had worn a business friendly blouse and a pencil skirt. It was feminine but safe. Looking at the woman in front of her, Becky couldn’t help but feel that she had played it too safe.

The woman was wearing a tight skirt under her silk blouse. Black pumps elongated her claves under smooth hose. She looked incredible. The outfit was somehow titillating without showing too much skin. It emphasized the woman’s sizeable chest and ass.

Quickly, Becky tucked her blouse into her skirt. She pulled tight on the fabric so it molded to her figure. Now, her small waist was prominent. She couldn’t do anything about her skirt but she ran her fingers through her hair trying to add volume.

If you’ll wait in her, an interviewer will be right with you, the woman smiled.

Becky thanked her. She stepped into the small room and took the chair facing the door. It wasn’t long before the door opened and Becky did her best to hide her fidgeting.

The woman who entered was gorgeous. She was tall and beautifully dressed. Her hair was long and unbound, spilling over her shoulders. Like the receptionist, her clothing was tight and brought out her impressive curves. Her chest was massive and Becky couldn’t help herself, her mouth dropped open.

The silence suddenly registered to Becky and she realized that she had been staring at the woman’s chest. Embarrassed, she glanced up. Instead of being annoyed, the woman had a mischievous smile on her face.

It’s ok. I get that reaction a lot, the woman laughed.

I am so sorry, Becky felt her face burning. Her heart dropped as she realized she had just ruined her last job prospect.

No worries, the woman brushed her off as she took the open seat. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like it. I’m Trisha, by the way, Trisha said offering Becky her hand.

Becky Johnson, it’s nice to meet you.

Trisha set a folder on the table and began looking through the papers inside. I see you are applying for a secretary position here. Oh, and you know Cassandra. Trisha looked up excitedly. It is always nice to receive inside referrals; it makes the interview process less awkward.

To be honest, I know Cassandra’s cousin Jen but Cassandra spoke very highly of your company and offered to put a good word in for me.

A small furrow appeared in between Trisha’s brows. Did Cassandra explain what our company does?

She explained that you create gourmet organic food and that your products are highly sought after.

Yes, that is all true but it’s really only a small description of what we do. Trisha smiled weakly. I guess this might still be an awkward interview. Trisha set aside the papers and put her arms on the table. You see, Becky, our company focuses on producing one very high quality food product. Like other companies in this area of business we offer our clients something they can’t get anywhere else while ensuring their money buys them the best of the best. We sell luxury. And we are wildly successful Trisha beamed.

Becky nodded and tried to keep her expression neutral. She had seen plenty of companies succeed providing rich people insane products: gold infused champagne, truffle dusted pasta, and any other number of artisan products. Frankly, Becky didn’t care what they were selling. If they gave her a job, she would scream their sales pitches from the mountain tops.

We are a dairy, a small producing dairy focusing on the quality of our product and the care of our, Trisha paused, producers.

    Becky relaxed a bit.
