About this ebook

Jack Lord and Belle were having their morning coffee and donuts, when the telephone rang. Jack had just told Belle that she could take the day of, if there is something she would like to buy for their party next weekend. The only thing I need is a diamond ring large enough to be seen, and that one you have to buy. The call came from a man, Joseph Lind, and Jack had promised to come up to his office. As they drove to the area, Belle recognize the place. This is where they have all the diamonds, she said. Entering the place, the receptionist asked them to wait, and Joseph Lind would be out. Thanks for coming so early, this is a catastrophe. They have stolen every diamond we had. At Steward Lands home, he was waiting for someone that can open locks. When there was a knock on the door, Steward shouted out, Yeah who is it? It was Paul Berg, a criminal person that could open any lock. As soon as Paul had proven to Steward that he could open locks, they on Saturday went to steal what Steward had planned for a year. Everything worked well, and they stole diamonds worth a trillion dollars. As Paul had left some finger prints, Stewart killed him with some poison. Now they were only two to split the diamonds, the office girl and Steward. As he didn't trust her, or anyone, he killed her with the same poison. When he tried to dump her body by the wharf, Jack, Belle and the police were there and took him. And the CEO Joseph Lind got all his diamond back, and promised jack a big reward.

You can take the rest of the day of Belle, if there is anything you need to buy for our engagement party next weekend. We have never had a lot to do on a Monday morning anyway, said Jack as he swiveled his chair back, and looked at his assistant, and girlfriend.

Take the rest of the day of? We have just arrived Jack, we haven't even had our coffee, and donuts yet. The only thing I need for our engagement is a diamond ring large enough to be seen, and that one you have to buy, answered Belle.

While Belle started with the coffee, the phone rang.

Jack Lord here, answered Jack, and listened to the person on the other end for quite some time.

As he put the receiver down, Belle asked. So who was that, another job, or was it Bill Smart that just wanted to talk?

I do believe that we got ourselves another job. The person on the phone asked the two of us to come to the address he gave me. He also added that we under no circumstances could involve the authorities. I had to agree to total confidentiality.

So, are we going down there right away? Or, are we going to have our breakfast first, asked Belle as she poured the coffee into the usual cups.

Let's eat a few donuts first. I don't think too well on an empty stomach. In addition, the person, his name is Joseph. He didn't specify any special time for us to get over there, answered Jack as he took a sip from the coffee.

After finishing the morning breakfast, and emptying the cooler of donuts,
