About this ebook

Ralph Brown drove down to the mall. He needed to buy a new and better CD player. He found one he liked, he bought it and drove home. When he connected this new CD player and installed his Cd disk, he could only hear this music. 'Nobody knows the trouble I have seen and nobody knows my sorrow.' For hours I tried to get my own CD, Madam Butterfly, by Puccini to work, even read every word in the instruction manual. I took out my old CD player and put in Puccini's work. It had just started to play when my telephone rang. I was going to leave it thinking it was a wrong number or a sales call. Then I heard my friend Wilbur's voice 'take the phone Ralph it is me, Wilbur.' the police were here and arrested Mary, we have to help her. I know she has been snorting and I have told her so many times to stop it, said Ralph as he went down to his car, and the two went to see Mary at the holding cell. As it turned out, a police officer Alexis North, a good magician was to help Mary Mitchel. A Soren Mild, the owner of The Company wanted Alexis and his brother Paul to help him. It turned out so well, that the two become executives with The Company and Mary Mitchel became their secretary.

I had taken my car; my trusted Beamer, my intension was to drive down to the mall; where I had to visit the electronic store to buy myself a new CD player, the one I have at home is too old, it works, but it doesn’t have the sound quality I like when I listen to my music. I was looking for one with a far better sound quality than my old player was giving me. For the price I had to pay for this new one, even if it was on sale, it ought to be a very good CD player, I thought. I bought it at the electronic store, down by the mall at our city center. They had been advertising this big sale, for several days now, and I took the opportunity to save a few bucks.

To my surprise, when I arrived there were quite a few police vehicles parked by the mall to day, and even a few from the Sherriff’s office, and I looked at them curiously as I entered the store. I must admit I was quite curious about their presence. Why I was curious? I have no idea. I hadn’t heard anything on the TV-news, no escaped prisoners and as far as I know there were no foreign trouble that would make the cops come here to the mall at full force. Maybe it was the sticky beak in me that just wanted to know why the police were here? What were they looking for? Or whom were they looking for? However, I spoke about it with another customer on the way in to this large electronic store, if he had heard anything about the multitude of police officers, and police vehicles parked so close by this store, and even at the mall’s own parking area.

Yeah, Sir, I heard from a friend of mine, that a large corporation, ‘The Company’ is trying to take over this and several other good stores here in central Florida. He answered as we both entered this humongous electronic store that sold everything that was working with electricity, even if it didn’t have a plug connected.

The Company? I wondered what kind of business they are doing? If they are interested in taking over this large electronic store. Why, and how would that be of interest to our own small-town police force? I thought as I entered the store. Ready to get the best CD player the store had in stock. I couldn’t, ask this other guy any further questions, or for additional information’s about this, ‘The Company’, as he walked over to where they kept the stoves, refrigerators and other home appliances. I went over to the department that sold CD players and other similar items.

I had seriously been thinking about relaxing today and doing absolutely nothing but listen to some of my favorite music. The classic opera music is the kind of music I prefer to listen to, and that is the type of music I like the most. Some of the opera music is just pure enjoyment to listen to. When I inserted my opera CD disk, ‘Madam Butterfly,’ made by Puccini, and sung by Maria Callas, into this new CD player, the one I just bought, and connected this new machine, to my loudspeaker’s, all I could hear was this old, but nice tune. ‘Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen, and nobody knows my sorrow.’ I have to say that the quality of the sound was excellent. However, as I tried my best to change
