Stacy stared at the stranger, blinking as she let go of the last of her anger and brought herself more fully into the present. The man who had spoken stood only a few feet away from her, austerely dressed in a black long-sleeved dress shirt unbuttoned at the throat and rolled up to the elbows and black slacks. His hair was wavy and thick, falling over his forehead and bright eyes. He was disconcertingly attractive.
