Pleasured - The Complete Series: BBW Erotica Romance
Part 1
Lena spent extra time that morning getting ready. Although she’d been sending out dozens of resumes, she hadn’t gotten much more than a nibble before this interview, and she wanted to blow them away. She stood in front of the mirror, meticulously checking herself over. Her long, straight hair, which she’d streaked with bleach blonde the week before, was perfectly tied at the back, with a section of bangs sweeping elegantly across her forehead.
Her face looked good. She had a nice complexion, good cheekbones, small nose, a cute chin, and she highlighted her blue eyes and long lashes with eyeshadow blending purple into silver. She did her cheeks, put on some lipstick, and even though she only needed her glasses for driving, she put them on anyway. She thought they made her look professional, and besides, they had really cute frames.
After getting her History degree, Lena had hung around for a while, not quite sure what to do with herself. She managed to make rent by working part-time jobs at a coffee shop and a book store, but she was fed up with being broke. It was time to get a real job at a real company. She finally decided to take a few business classes, and although she still didn’t know exactly what she wanted to do, she had to start looking for a real job.
She picked out a nice gray suit with a matching skirt and jacket, and chose a pearl white blouse the buttoned up in the front. The ad that she’d answered, as well as the man she spoke to on the phone, had both been purposefully vague about what business they were in, except to say that the company was involved in manufacturing, and the job involved product development and testing. Lena had taken a course at the business school titled Quality Assurance,
and she had that near the top of her resume. She had an idea that was what got her the call.
Her interview was for ten o’clock. She’d canceled a shift at the coffee shop to go to the interview, which would be no big deal if she actually got a job, but she didn’t like thinking about her money situation otherwise. She grabbed her bag, which had a portfolio of resumes and some writing samples inside, and headed out of her little suite.
The city was hot in the summer, and it was a relief to get out of the downtown streets and into the cool subway. Lena’s building wasn’t in the greatest area, but it was close to the university, which was why it had been perfect for the last few years. The address she was given for the job, however, was way out of the core. She would have to ride to the end of the line, and then catch a bus up to an area that was full of warehouses and factories. That would be one problem if she got the job. It was pretty far out. But she had to take what she could get at this point. At the very least she would have to keep an open mind.
She eventually got off the bus near the address, and walked a few blocks to arrive at the building where the business was located. It was a squat, unattractive, two-story slab of gray-painted brick and concrete. Ugh,
she said when she saw it. The windows were all tinted, and there was nothing to indicate what was going on inside. The sign next to the door was equally opaque: M. Industries.
She sighed. Open mind,
she said, reassuring herself. Keep an open mind.
The front door was locked, and Lena had to buzz in through an intercom to get access. Inside was a small vestibule with some plastic plants, and at the top of a four-step staircase she found the reception desk and a small waiting room. There was a man working at the reception desk. He was about fifty, with thinning white hair pulled back into a pony-tail. He was wearing glasses and had a white handlebar mustache.
Hello there!
he said in a merry voice when Lena arrived at his desk. You must be Miss MacInnes.
Lena smiled. I am. I’m here for a ten o’clock interview.
Yes, you are,
he said, peering at his computer monitor. You’ll be meeting with the owner, Mr. Suter. He’ll come out and get you when he’s ready. You can have a seat, if you’d like. He’ll probably be a few.
Sure,
she said. Um, if you don’t mind me asking--
Al.
Pardon?
My name is Al.
Oh.
She smiled. If you don’t mind me asking, Al, what kind of business does M. Industries do?
Al tapped two fingers against his chin. I’ll let Mr. Suter explain that to you.
Lena nodded and took a seat. There were five chairs against the yellow-painted wall. They all had cracked vinyl on the backs and seats. She chose one and sat down. There were a few magazines on an end table, but they were wrinkled and old. She ignored them and took out her phone to check her messages.
At the end of the waiting room there was a short hallway with doors on the sides and at the end. At ten after ten a man came though the right side door. He was tall and impressively built, with a sharp, handsome face, and he was wearing a nicely-fitted gray suit. Although he looked quite young, his neatly-cut black hair was touched with silver at the temples.
I hope, thought Lena, that is Mr. Suter.
The man approached Al at the desk and handed over a stack of binders. Okay Al,
he said. I need you to enter this stuff. We’ve got to get that paper cleared out of the storage room before someone puts us on a reality show about hoarders. If any documents are unreadable you can skip them, and don’t bother with anything more than five years old unless it’s from someone who’s still a client. Shred and recycle everything when you’re done. Cool?
Al took the stack. Aye, captain. Paperwork ahoy. And may I present the very presentable Lena MacInnes, your ten o’clock. Ms. MacInnes, this is Mr. James Suter.
Lena stood up, and James Suter shook her hand. His hand was large and obviously strong, but his grip was welcoming. He smiled. So sorry to keep you waiting. Will you join me please?
He led her back through the door on the right. It led into a stairwell, painted the same unattractive gray as the outside of the building. You’ll have to forgive the appearance of the place,
he said as they walked up to the second floor. I know how dumpy the place looks. Repainting and updating the building is on a long list of changes planned for this company. Especially that waiting room. I hate that the first impression people have of me and my business is that room.
The stairwell brought them into a hallway lined with closed door. He took her to the end of the hall and they entered his office, which was spacious and freshly painted eggshell white. The room was decorated with a pair of Van Gogh painting prints, The Starry Night and Cafe Terrace at Night. James Suter’s desk sat in the center of the room, with a pair of chairs facing it. Please,
he said, gesturing to a chair. Can I offer you anything?
I’m fine, thank you,
she replied.
Great.
James Suter sat down across from her. He had a closed laptop computer on his desk, and that was all. The room was very tidy. He reached into a desk drawer and took out a folder and a spiral-bound notebook and pen.
Let me begin by introducing myself,
he began. "I hope by telling you a little bit about me, we can come to a certain level of comfort. Hopefully we can be very honest and open with each other, and avoid any of the awkwardness
