I’ve stumbled through the world; I could not find my way.
nothing seemed to go right, no matter what I’d say.
I traveled down some darkened roads; I could not see the Light.
I did not know what to do, nothing turned out right.
When I was at the bitter end this happened to me;
I met this Awesome God who helped me to Believe.

When you reached your Turning Point
and choose God to lead the way.
He will show you what to do
and help with what you say.
Give your hopes and fears to Him
and peace you will receive.
He can be your answer
if only you Believe.

I am 75. I believe in music. I was raised in the Bay Area in Ca now I live in Oregon outside Portland. I believe that WE are forever. The body is only one part of us that God is omnipotent. We are connected to the power of the universe, which is God. He is my companion. He leaves me speechless. I have been writing poetry most of my life and want to paint pictures with my words. Awesome God

I sit here alone not lonely

He’s always here with me.

Picks me up in his gentle hands

I’m blind and cannot see.

The evil in this world

does not stand a chance.

He is all around me

I see Him at every glance.

You see I’m just a sinner

but He loves me just the same.

Jesus washed my sins away

kBless His Holy Name.

God loves me so much

even when I stray.

God is here beside me

He knows my every way.

God is in my mind

because I asked Him there.

He lifts me up dusts me off

and I know He cares.

Isn’t this Great!

He is such an awesome God

He always will complete.

The wondrous thing that’s you

you’re loving, and so sweet.

When you think you’re all alone

He is always there.

To love you and to guide you

because He really cares.

I was praying, forgive me Lord

for all my sins today.

I know He speaks though actions

to me He had to say.

"I warm you with the sunshine

on a rainy day.

Jesus paid a price for you

washed all your sins away."

You can talk to Him anywhere

He won’t think you’re odd.

Again He paid that price for you

so you can talk to God

He Hears Me

Thank You God You’ve given me

an open heart so I can see.

The way You love me every day

because You hear all that I say.

Whenever I am feeling sad

You touch my soul making me glad.

If I have doubted You this far

You talk to me of who You are.

In my mind You show me the way

with how you teach me what to say.

Of my sins You clean me up

forgiveness You serve from a cup.

You want to fellowship You said

if that weren’t true I would be dead.

Because in foolishness I live

You bless me helping me give.

All the things You always do

if only I will
