I cannot find my God,
because I'm full of sin.
I'm lost inside this fog.
can't tell the shape I'm in.

I think God forgot me,
I stand and shake in fears.
I bow me head in shame,
my eyes are full of tears.

Where is the God I know,
I look and cannot see.
I'm looking all around,
Father, can you hear me?

I am 75. I believe in music. I was raised in the Bay Area in Ca now I live in Oregon outside Portland. I believe that WE are forever. The body is only one part of us that God is omnipotent. We are connected to the power of the universe, which is God. He is my companion. He leaves me speechless. I have been writing poetry most of my life and want to paint pictures with my words. Father can you hear me

as I kneel on the ground?

Do you hear me praying

or are you even ‘round?

All my life is sinful

can’t seem to get it right.

Wander in the day time

and stumble through the night.

Sin is everlasting

no matter what I do.

What I pray it’s not clear

I sit here feeling blue.

Father, look down on me

and hear my mumbled prayer.

Let me feel your presence

show me that you are there.

Then I heard the echoes

it’s all around my head.

I listened through my moans

but afraid I was dead.

I will never leave you

I will be always here.

I will lift your sorrows

and wipe away your tears.

I felt a peacefulness

like none I’ve felt before.

Then I heard a knocking

it’s Jesus at the door.

So ever since that day

my sins have been no more.

Now I am so happy

I know what life is for.

Jesus is our savior

He’ll take away your sin.

He’ll open up the door

and He will let you in.

Father, can You hear me

I thank You for today?

Thank You for the rest I got

please listen while I pray

Let this day be for you

Lord, guide me as I live.

Show me the things I need.

my life to you I give.

Bless me while I'm writing

and what I say is true.

Please know how I feel

when I say I love You.

Jesus, thank You thank You

You've paid the price for me.

With Your strips I am healed

You've truly set me free.

Lord, come into my heart

and heal my sinful life.

Protect me from evil
