Everything has a season and every purpose has a specifi c time. This compilation expands over numerous events of life, hope, dreams, struggles and thankfulness to the Lord. Without these events, this book would not have been published, nor would the impression of Gods hand in my life be real. These poems are an expression of what Ive encountered on my Divine Journey through life as a mother, sister, daughter, and minister. This book is compiled purposefully to inspire others through their journey. It is my hope that this book will encourage others to reflect on life and express their gifts and talents. Ellen Bynum Johnson

A native of Greenville, North Carolina, Ellen Bynum Johnson now lives in Mechanicsville, Virginia. As a single mother, she has strived to keep her family together. Being a foster mother, elementary school teacher and associate minister, she has tried to incorporate poetry to teach life lessons and evoke a since of spiritually. Her poems display certain aspects of her personal and spiritual journeys. In hopes that others will understand and be encouraged by her poems, Ellen has compiled several into this book.
