Leah groaned as she sat up. She looked to her side to see her husband snoring away. Ever since he had come back from his last trip, he seemed different, a bit colder than usual. He had mentioned that the results he and his team were expecting didn't come to fruition but Leah knew something else was still wrong.

A chill ran down her spine as she wondered if he knew about her and the officer. It had been a month since her fateful encounter with the big black officer and she had not heard nor seen him since. There couldn't have been a way for her husband to know.
