Karen crept along the dark walls of the Labyrinth, her body aching everywhere as she neared a corner. There was no way to keep track of time in the monster filled maze. It had been quite some time since the fateful day her own sister, Linda, had betrayed her. She was stuck in a dark room pleasuring two lizard men as the exit to the maze closed in on her.

Karen had always been the resourceful sister, getting herself and Linda out of sticky situations since they were young. She had been promiscuous early on in her life so that she could find food for her family, even though sexual activity had been outright banned by the Government. After all the secrecy and hard work, for her younger sister to turn her back on her and take the win from her, it was heart wrenching.

She had made quick work of the two lizard men and had managed to turn them to her side. When the guards had swooped in to grab her and take her to the studios used for filming women who had lost in the Horny Games, the lizard men had helped to fend them off. In the chaos, Karen had managed to get away, re-entering the Labyrinth, not knowing if there was another exit.

Her heart raced as she peeked around a corner. No one knew what happened in the Labyrinth after a woman had exited. Judging by the fact that soldiers came in to take her, she had surmised that all women were taken out of the Labyrinth and the whole maze reset. She had to find a way to get sympathy from the crowds watching on television, some way to get her out of the maze. In the back of her mind, she knew it probably was an impossibility.

As she turned the corner, she paused, footsteps approaching from the far end. She crouched, hiding in the dark shadows of the maze. Far off in the distance, she could see some soldiers running towards her. They quickly split off to separate tunnels, none of them heading straight towards her. She breathed a sigh of relief and looked around. There were whirring sounds everywhere, the flying mechanical cameras keeping a watchful eye inside the Labyrinth for all to see.
