Chapter 1

TABITHA INCREASED HER pace as her worry mounted.

How the hell did I get turned around? the twenty five year old blonde asked herself as she paused and slowly spun a complete three sixty hoping to spot something, anything familiar. She squeezed her eyes closed a shook her head, all that she saw were trees, identical trees. Tall pine trees that dropped crispy needles that crunched under her feet as she walked.

Taken short while cutting through the corner of the forest she had crept away from the path to the cover of a stand of scraggy bushes.
