    About Talia Trace

    Researching the Tentacles

Sarah looked over the notes that she'd been gathering over the past couple of months. For the most part they were comprised of newspaper clippings and photocopies of old manuscripts, but she had managed to dig up a blurry photograph or two from the depths of online forums from the past.

A creature was lurking, that she knew. Or creatures most likely. She heard a whisper or two almost a year ago, but the further she dug, the more that she learned. Sure, she still didn't know a lot; the creature was strangely elusive, and the people involved were quiet on so many accounts. There was so much to lose from coming forward and talking about it--and so little to gain.

But Sarah's curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't calm it down. She needed to know more, and that wasn't going to happen by sitting there and staring at notes. The notes had taken over her desk at home, and were slowly moving up the wall as she amassed more newspaper articles that seemed related to this mysterious creature.

Along the top of the first page in her notebook was a name scribbled down. Tracy Morrison. One of the photographs had came from her, leaked online several months
