    About this Project

This book will guide you through the process of painting one of Sydney's most iconic scenes - Barrenjoey Head at Palm Beach.

Yes, it is a great scene, somewhat ruined by the trees. I was tempted to take an axe to them, but then I remembered, an artist has a much more powerful tool - the brush! The brush can move mountains!

Here are a couple of my interpretations:

Your painting won't look exactly like these. That doesn't matter! It will most likely look better. My method of teaching enables you to express your own taste and feelings about what is beautiful.

This is not a prescriptive method, but rather a series of processes which enable your self expression. Go for it! Have fun!
