Pushing the dinner plate off his table, with clenched fist and anger etched on his face, Sheikh Abek-un-bin-Sahotas of Alfaroz shouts on top of his lungs.

I said I do not want to be disturbed. What part of the statement don’t you understand?

There is silence from behind.

I said clearly to Her Highness that today I shall not be disturbed by anyone. Did you get the message or not?

Another silence resonates from his behind. Clearly, the maid is shivering in terror from the display of his anger! He does not, bloody, care! Why are people so insensitive to him always? On any other day he can bear the behaviour, but today, on the death anniversary of his beloved Pihu? No way!

Now do not stand there like an idiot effigy. Clear this mess on the floor. Perform your duty and then take your sorry ass from the room, he says sternly, And always remember the orders which are being given to you, alright?

Naaz has always known that the middle prince is one sick SOB! From the past two years, she is acting as his personal maid and has always disliked his angry behaviour at all times. Sheikh Abek, precisely, is known for his doubtful and angry nature is the last person she ever wanted to serve, but as usual, as it is her duty!

Bending down and accumulating the discarded food, she is reminded of the days when she uses to starve in her foster home before Abek’s father sheltered her in the Alfaroz castle. Fury and pure seething rage enter her system. Red-faced, with a shivering tray of the food in her hand, she is about to go from the room.

Suddenly, something hits her. Pausing in her steps, she turns.

Silence! Probably, he never heard her.

The food, which you have just discarded, sometimes barely reaches the lower section of the society. For this food, common man, unlike you, struggles, strife’s and goes up to the level of stealing from his own king. But alas! High people like you will never understand the meaning of this grain. From next time, before throwing the food in this way, please think about it. You will definitely get my logic,

That said, she exists!

Abek turns in his seat and sees the maid exiting out of the door. His head still full of voice, Abek gulps down the rude words which had come in his throat when she started speaking.
