Chapter 1

Trevor Gallagher stood next to his brother Ryder, who was getting married today. They were dressed in black tuxedos with white shirts. Trevor could see Ryder grinning from ear to ear waiting for his soon to be wife, Kendra, to come walking down the stairs. The music started to play, and Trevor looked up at the stairs. The woman that haunted his dreams was walking down the stairs with a radiant smile on her face. She was breath taking beautiful. Trevor inhaled sharply and remembered the first time he saw her.

Four months earlier, Trevor remembered coming out of the horse barn as his brother Ryder drove the ranch bus in the driveway. The bus parked up by the main lodge and the guests started to climb off the bus. Trevor watched in curiosity as the guests climbed off the bus. The ranch’s busy season had officially started.

Trevor started to get back to work when two women climbed off the bus and caught his attention. They both had on bright yellow shirts. One woman was a blonde with long hair and slim build. The other one that caught his attention was dark haired with curves in all the right places. He smiled watching her climb off the bus in high heeled white sandals. She had on white skin tight jeans that molded to her luscious curvy body.

She was curvy in all the right places with a nice set of large breasts that jiggled with her movements. She had shoulder length curly brown hair. Trevor had an instant reaction to her. He watched her with a smile on his face and bulge in his jeans. He saw her laughing and talking to the blonde next to her. Her hands were moving as she talked and laughed.

Trevor couldn’t take his eyes off her. She was beautiful. He decided he needed to get to know her. First, he had worked to get done before he could mingle with guests. He would see her tonight at the lodge party, he hoped.

Megan James was a 30 years old single woman. Megan was always known as a fun party girl. She dated a lot but never had a serious relationship with a man. Men treated her as a fun girl and a buddy. She acted like the fun party girl as protection. She was self-conscious of her body and looks. She knew she was not gorgeous or had a nice slim body.

Megan was a size 14 with voluptuous curves and stood about 5.5ft. She always dressed in bright, radiant colors. She always wore a smile on her face and acted like the happy go lucky girl even if she didn’t feel like it. People were attracted to her happy personality. She never had sex with a man totally naked or totally sober. Every time she had sex with a man it was at a party and she had been drinking. Megan had been with a lot of men, but none of them ever asked her to have a relationship. She let them know she wasn’t looking for one it was just sex.

Megan was very self-conscious of her body because of her mother. Megan’s mother had criticized her and told her; she was fat and average looking. Megan never had a date in high school. The boys treated her like one of the guys. They liked her bubbly personality and hung out with her. She always helped friends get dates but never had the nerve to date herself.

Megan first kiss happened when she was 21. A few friends of hers had taken her out to a bar where there were male strippers. She got drunk and wild. The male dancers paid a lot of attention to her because she was shoving money in their g-strings. Her first-kiss and first sexual experience was with a male stripper. From that night on, she figured out if she was a lot of fun; men paid attention to her. Megan knew she was easy and carefree. She didn’t care because that was the only way men paid any attention to her.

Kendra Williams, Megan’s best friend, didn’t even know the real Megan. Megan had heard some of the women at the hospital talk about going to a dude ranch. The men in the south liked voluptuous women not skinny ninnies. They liked a woman with luscious curves they could grab hold of.

Megan decided to book a vacation for her best friend Kendra, who lost her husband to cancer a year ago. They would go to a dude ranch and maybe snag a cowboy or two. Megan hoped the women she heard talking were right about cowboys liking bigger women. Megan was very lonely and wanted to find love. She had a lot of love to give to someone.

Megan and Kendra arrived at the Gallagher Ranch. Megan was disappointed; Kendra had already had caught the attention of a sexy cowboy named Ryder. He had been friendly to her but when he had saw Kendra, his eyes lit up with interest. Megan had flirted with him first, but he had showed her no interest except to be friendly.

Megan had teased Kendra about him all day. The ranch was having a party tonight for the guests. Megan was definitely going to go. She hoped there was going to be some more single cowboys there for her to meet. Megan and Kendra went to the lodge that was assigned to them. They unpacked their luggage and got settled in. By the time they had finished, it was dinner time. They went to the main lodge to eat dinner.

After the guests were served dinner, the owner of the ranch stood up and introduced himself then his family. Megan about swallowed her tongue staring at Trevor Gallagher. Trevor stood tall and straight at the front of the room with his family. Trevor had on a black Stetson cowboy hat and his green eyes sparkled with amusement. He stood 6ft with long muscular legs and broad shoulders. He had on a black western cut shirt, and his jeans molded to his muscular frame perfectly.

Megan couldn’t take her eyes off him. When he smiled, he had white straight teeth and dimples. Megan could see some blonde hair sticking out underneath his cowboy hat. He was gorgeous and sexy as hell. Megan had an instant reaction to him. She shivered with excitement, and her skin broke out in goosebumps. She felt butterflies in her stomach and felt nervous. She had realized she had been staring at him for a while. Their eyes locked across the room. His smile widened looking at her.

Megan quickly averted her eyes from him. She felt flushed from his stare and smile. When, she got her heartbeat under control; she looked up again. Trevor had left; she looked around for him but didn’t see him anywhere. She sighed in disappointment. Kendra and Megan went back to the lodge after dinner. Megan wanted to take extra time to get ready for the dance later that night. Kendra decided not to go out tonight. Megan was going; she wanted and hoped Trevor was going to be there. She had to see him again.

Megan took two hours to get ready for the dance. She showered, shaved and lotion her body. Megan had everything pulled out of her suitcase trying to decide what to wear. She finally decided on a red halter dress that flared out at the hips with red high heels.

Megan carefully applied her makeup to her face. She wanted to look good for Trevor. She curled her hair in soft waves. When she finished, she looked at herself in the full length mirror in the bedroom. She was happy with the results. She just wished her hips and waist was a little thinner. Her large breasts looked fantastic in the halter dress. Her breasts were her best asset. Men did love her large Double-D breasts. Her breasts were the first thing they noticed. So, she made sure to show them off. Kendra had told her; she looked beautiful before she left to go to the party.

Megan walked into the main lodge with her head held high and confident smile on her lips. She put on her game face. Even though, she had anxiety and butterflies in her stomach. She looked around for Trevor but didn’t see him. She spotted Ryder up at the bar and headed that way. She put on a radiating smile and walked towards him. Ryder smiled and asked her about Kendra. She saw the disappointment on his face when she told him; Kendra decided to stay in for the night

Ryder introduced her to his younger brother Samuel. Samuel looked a lot like Trevor. He was a little shorter and smaller build. He didn’t affect her like Trevor had, but he was handsome. He also was only 24 years old, a little young for her. After talking to Samuel, she knew he was too young and not even close to settling down. Samuel and Megan drank and did some shots together.

She had her party girl personality going on. They decided to go out dancing and had fun with each other. After a couple of hours of drinking a lot and dancing with Samuel, Megan finally saw Trevor. Trevor was out on the dance floor giving line dancing lessons. Megan's heart speeded up watching him dance. Her mouth went dry watching his hips swing back and forth with the music.

Trevor felt eyes on him, and he glanced around. Trevor spotted Megan staring at him. His cock instantly hardened, and his heart picked up speed. He tore his gaze away from her. Trevor had saw Megan earlier with Samuel. They looked like they were enjoying themselves. Trevor watched her flirt and dance sexual with Samuel. Trevor figured Samuel already claimed her. Trevor would not embark on his brother’s claim. So, he would have to ignore her and show no interest.

Trevor was disappointed but the more he watched her, he realized she was not his type. Megan was not submissive. She was loud and a flirt. The way, she and Samuel dance together, he knew she was very sexual. They danced like they were having sex, bumping, grinding against one another. Samuel had his hands all over her, and she didn’t seem to mind.

Trevor also had seen them slamming shots down. Trevor didn’t like drunken women. Having a few drinks was all right but a drunken woman was a turn off for him. He wanted a woman very aware of what he was doing to them especially during sex. Trevor knew that night, he would have to resist her with everything he had. Every time their eyes locked he could see the desire and want in her eyes.

Back to the present, Megan dress shimmered as she walked slowly down the stairs. The dress was a light sage green. The straps were thin with sparkling crystals. The top of the dress dipped and formed to her large sized breasts. The dress flared out a little at her hips and ended just below her knees. She had on a pair of silver strappy heels on her feet. Megan’s hair was styled in an elegant up-do with pieces of hair framing her face. Her brown eyes sparkled with happiness.

Trevor couldn’t take his eyes off the sensual Megan. He watched every step she takes closer to him. Megan made eye contact with him, and he could see the desired flare in her eyes as she stared at him. Trevor felt his heart beat faster. Megan made him burn with want, but she couldn’t give him what he needed.

Megan’s eyes widened at seeing Trevor dressed in a black tux. Standing next to Ryder, Trevor was handsome, and his green eyes intense looking up at her. The black tuxedo formed nicely to his 6’2ft slim frame. He was not as wide across the shoulders as Ryder, but Trevor was nicely muscled with a perfect v-line. His blonde hair was curly but cropped short. Trevor took her breath away and made her heart beat faster.

Megan felt her nipples grow taut and dampness between her legs as she stared back him from the stairs. He brought her body alive. As she walked towards him and Ryder, she saw his face tighten with tension. She knew she was affecting him, but he was fighting the attraction between them. Her smile faltered a little as she walked pass Ryder and Trevor. She turned and faced the stairs. She glanced over quickly at Trevor; he was looking up at the stairway. She felt her body tremble wishing it was her coming down the stairs instead of her best friend, Kendra.

The wedding song started, and her best friend in the world was descending down the stairs towards her new husband to be. Megan felt a little envious and jealous towards Kendra. Kendra had experience two great loves in her life. Travis was her first husband of twelve years. He had passed away a year and a half ago from cancer. Ryder Gallagher will be her second husband.

Megan wished she could find true love like Kendra. The problem was men found her to easy going and fun. She would end up being good friends with them instead of a serious relationship. Men never took her serious. They always thought she was joking around with them. She just let them believe that instead telling them her true feelings. She would walk away hurt but refuse to let them know she wasn’t joking.

There was something about Trevor Gallagher that had her on fire. From the first time, she saw him; she wanted him with her whole being. But he just acted like she wasn’t around even though she caught him watching her. She had been with enough men to recognize the desire in a man’s eyes. She had seen it many times in his eyes while watching her. She just couldn’t figure out why he fought against it.

A couple months ago at Trevor’s father’s funeral, Trevor had spoken to her outside. Trevor even pressed his hard delicious body to her backside. She had felt every inch of his body. Trevor told her; he liked rough sex, and she wouldn’t be able to handle his desires. She wasn’t sure what he had meant. She did ask Ryder, and he was surprised by her comment.

Ryder thought it was funny since Trevor always dated well-mannered and breed women. The women Trevor dated were not wild and knew their place in the world. He even said Trevor didn’t date a lot maybe twice a year. Ryder also told her, Trevor was looking for a woman who knew ranching. He needed someone that would be able to handle the everyday life of ranching. He wouldn’t settle for anything less. Megan was confused by what Ryder told her and what Trevor suggested.

Megan thought she could be happy here and was thinking of moving to Colorado. She missed Kendra terribly. They had talked on the phone every other day since Kendra moved from Michigan to Colorado. It just wasn’t the same as having her living close.

Megan figured why she was here; she would check out the job situation. She was a physical therapist, so she knew finding another job wouldn’t be too hard to find. She would just have to check out to see about possibly transferring her license. Megan listened as Ryder and Kendra exchanged wedding vows. She gave Trevor a sideways glance and was surprised he was staring right at her. He quickly averted his eyes from hers. She smiled to herself. He was interested even if he tried not to act like it.

The minister announced Ryder and Kendra, husband and wife. The guest cheered and clapped. Ryder dipped Kendra in his arms and gave her a passionate kiss. After the kiss, they started walking down the aisle arm and arm. Megan looked over at Trevor and moved to the center of the aisle. Megan linked her arm through his, and they walked briskly down the aisle. As soon as they came to Ryder and Kendra, Trevor let loose of Megan’s arm. Megan felt a little disappointed. Trevor moved next to Ryder. Trevor gave Kendra a hug and punched Ryder in the arm.

Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Ryder Gallagher, Trevor said smiling.

Thanks, Trev. I am the luckiest man alive right now, Ryder said grabbing Kendra and giving her toe curling kiss. Trevor laughed and shook his head at the two.

The guest started coming out of the house to congratulate the new married couple. The reception was being held in the main lodge of Gallagher ranch. After greeting the guests, is was time to take pictures of the wedding party. Ryder and Kendra wanted pictures of them on Zeus, Ryder’s black stallion. Trevor left to the greeting line to go get Zeus ready.

About fifteen minutes later, Ryder, Kendra and Megan came walking out to the barn. Trevor had Zeus all saddled up for Kendra and Ryder. He also had to saddle Apollo for Megan and himself. Ryder helped Kendra upon Zeus, and he mounted up behind her. Trevor looked at Megan and nodded his head to her. She smiled and walked towards him. Trevor put his hands at her waist and helped her up on Apollo. Trevor had felt Megan tremble at his touch. He mounted upon Apollo behind her.

Holy shit, this is a big horse, Megan said nervously. Trevor laughed.

Apollo is a good horse; you don’t need to be nervous. I am right behind you; nothing bad will happen, Trevor told her from behind. Apollo started to dance a little bit.

Oh shit, Megan said nervously gripping the saddle horn tightly in her hands.

You are fine. I am right here and have control of Apollo, Trevor whispered in her ear. Apollo knows you are nervous. Horses are sensitive to emotions. Trevor had his arms wrapped around Megan's waist holding on to Apollo’s reigns.

Well, you right about that, you both are making me nervous, Megan whispered.

Why am I making you nervous? Trevor whispered in her ear.

Because you are so close to me, Megan said softly. Trevor chuckled at her comment.

The feel of me sitting behind you makes you nervous? Trevor whispered.

Not so much nervous as turned on, Kendra replied softly.

Does the feel of me pressed against you make your body come alive? Trevor whispered.

Yes, Megan whispers. She heard Trevor chuckle at her response.

The camera man started taking pictures of them on the horses. They all posed and smiled for the photographer. Trevor was glad when the photographer finally finished up taking pictures. Being this close to Megan was affecting him more than he wanted to admit. Her scent of vanilla and honeysuckle was permanently embedded in his nose. Every time he smelled vanilla he knew it would remind him of Megan.

Trevor slid off Apollo and held out his arms for Megan to slide down. She looked down at him and smiled. Megan slid off Apollo into Trevor’s waiting arms. He held her closely and let her body slid down his, and that was a mistake. The feel of her softness against his hard body gave him a huge erection. Megan soft large breasts pressed against his hard chest. As her body slid down Trevor’s, they were standing toe to toe. Megan looked up at him with questioned look. Trevor had an urge to kiss her lips. He cleared his throat and let loose of her quickly. He took a step away from her.

Time to go to the main lodge for dinner, Trevor said and quickly hands Apollo reigns to one of the ranch hands. Trevor turned and quickly headed towards the lodge. Megan just stood still watching him walk quickly away.

What lit a fire under Trevor’s ass? Ryder asked watching Trevor walk quickly away.

Um…I guess he is very hungry, Megan replied smiling.

I am too. Come on wife of mine lets go get something to eat, Ryder told Kendra. He grabbed her hand in his and started walking towards the lodge.

I like the sound of that husband of mine, Kendra replied laughing.

Megan followed behind them to the main lodge. Ryder and Kendra walked in the lodge everybody cheered and banged on their glasses. Ryder laughed and bent down and captured Kendra lips in a passionate kiss. Megan noticed Trevor was standing next to a beautiful blonde. Megan remembered her from the Black Steer Bar. She was a woman who didn’t have anything nice to say about Ryder. The woman was standing very close to Trevor. He had his arm wrapped around her waist. Megan felt instant jealously.

Kendra, the woman with Trevor, isn’t she the one that said crap about Ryder at the Black Steer Bar? Megan whispered to Kendra. Kendra looked over at Trevor and the woman.

Yes, that is Daisy. She was also very rude to Ryder when we were picking out my engagement ring, Kendra said softly.

Why is she here then? Megan asked curiously.’

I think she is Trevor’s date, Kendra replied softly.

Oh, Megan said softly.

Oh, shit Megan, I am sorry. I know how you feel about Trevor, Kendra said apologizing.

Don’t worry about it. I will just have to have fun with Samuel then, Megan replied.

Come on let’s get this party started, Kendra said loudly.

Oh yeah, lets drink and dance our asses off, Megan said laughing.

Everybody sat down to eat dinner and have a conversion. Trevor had to give a toast for Ryder and Kendra. Trevor stood up and grabbed the microphone.

Can I have everybody's attention? I am going to make a toast to Ryder and Kendra. First I would like to welcome Kendra to our family. You are the best thing that happened to Ryder. You tamed his wild ass down. Our father knew before Ryder; you were his soul mate. Even though, he is not here to see you join in married; he is jumping up and down with happiness. Thank you, Kendra. Ryder, my brother, before you met his beautiful woman, you were one unhappy man. Nothing seemed to go right for you, now you are a husband and soon to be a father. Now it is time to live, laugh and love. I hope someday to find the same love and happiness you two have found with each other. To Mr. and Mrs. Ryder Gallagher, Trevor said holding up his glass of Champaign.

Hear, hear, the guest yelled out and then drank their Champaign. Ryder and Kendra both gave Trevor a tight hug.

Trev that was beautiful thank you, Kendra said wiping tears from her eyes.

Well said, Trev, Ryder replied patting Trevor on the back.

The band was all setup in the corner ready to start playing music. Dinner was cleared out of the way, so the guest had a bigger dance floor. The band announced for Mr. and Mrs. Ryder Gallagher to come out on the dance floor. Megan knew her and Trevor would be called out next to the dance floor. She looked around for Trevor. She spotted him up at the bar with Daisy. Megan started walking towards them.

Trevor spotted Megan heading towards him. He started at Megan when they made eye contact; he bent his head and captured Daisy lips in a passionate kiss. Megan’s feet faltered a minute watching Trevor kiss Daisy. Megan held her head higher and continued to walk towards them.

Um…excuse me, Trevor. But we are wanted out on the dance floor, Megan said softly poking Trevor in the arm. Trevor pulled his mouth from Daisy’s and smiled at Megan.

I guess we better get out there then. Daisy, keep those lips warm and ready for me, Trevor said smiling.
