DL Moss

Dimmie Moss is retired and living in SE Aurora, Colorado with her husband of 37 years. She writes using her experiences in the local BDSM community, where she has taught and mentored extensively. Her hope is that the accurate point of view within her fictional stories will give a more realistic look at that community than some other fiction has provided. Safety and consent are primary concerns for those who indulge in the more alternative parts of their sexuality and she tries to infuse those traits in her characters so that they might provide a good influence for those who want to explore it.

    Chapter 1- The Spanking

She'd broken her promise and knew she was in big trouble! As Lynn paced the apartment, she remembered the agreement that she and James had made. I can't believe that I was crazy enough to give him such complete control!

It had seemed like a good idea at the time. Her preoccupation lately with self-pleasure was taking some of the edge off the excitement she felt when she was with him. But, she hadn't counted on how she would feel when he was out of town on this business trip! She begged to go with him, but he said No. Now she was worried about what he'd do when he found out that she hadn't kept her promise. He'd been threatening to spank her lately and had given her a few teasing swats during their lovemaking sessions. Suddenly, she was worried. What will I do if he insists on spanking me for real? Her heart beat faster with the thought.

She heard his key in the front door, and her heart began to race. I won't tell him... he won't know if I don't tell him! Her greeting was exuberant. Honey, welcome home! Did you miss me? He pulled her into his arms and kissed her with all the passion of a man who had been away for three long days. How was the trip? she asked. Let's don't talk about that now. I have much more interesting things on my mind.

He began to unbutton her blouse and, after completing that task, reached behind her to unfasten her bra. Soon, both items were in a heap at her feet. He bent down and took her left nipple in his mouth, biting softly and waiting for the moan that this usually provoked. Her silence begged the question What's wrong?

Nothing... let me get you a drink. She turned and quickly made her way to the wet bar in the corner of the room. Her hands shook as she poured each of them a glass of her favorite wine. He sensed her nervousness. Come here, he said.

As she turned to face him, he smiled knowingly and asked, How was your weekend?

Fine! I got a lot done while you were gone.

Did you miss me? His voice was low and sexy.

Of course, she hedged, not quite able to meet his eyes.

He was really suspicious now. Do you have anything you want to tell me?

What do you mean? She tried one last bluff, knowing that it wouldn't work. In a quiet voice, he frowned, Were you bad while I was gone?

She finally realized that she wasn't going to be able to lie her way out of this one. She tried another tactic... She stepped forward and handed him the glass of wine. Hon, I couldn't help it. I was thinking about you and... I just couldn't stop!

Go to the bedroom and wait. His voice was calm but insistent.

She just stood there, unable to believe what she had heard. Surely, he's just joking. She tried to think of something to say... some way to get out of this mess.

Go to the bedroom and wait. As he repeated the order, he crossed his arms and stared at her. There was a hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, but it did little to alleviate her anxiety about his intentions.

She left the room, trembling. She entered the dark bedroom, changed into a nightgown and laid down on the bed. He walked through the room on his way to his dressing room. She heard him unpacking. He took his time putting away his clothes from the trip. He didn't acknowledge her as he walked past the bed on his way to the bathroom. As she waited, she heard the familiar sounds and it felt like an eternity before the shower finally began.

She relaxed a little and her thoughts drifted backward in time... to the first time they met.

Chapter 2 - Two Months Before

Jody was looking for a job - again. That girl went through jobs faster than she went through men, but Lynn liked her anyway. She had a wild quality that appealed to Lynn's sense of adventure and life was never dull when they were together.

Look, here's an ad that looks interesting. Jody shoved the paper into Lynn's face, pointing to the ad that had drawn her attention.

--- Waitress wanted for pool hall. Must be very friendly and have a sense of adventure.

    Call James. 713-555-6436 ---

    Well, that sure fits you!

I'm going to call now, she said and picked up the phone to dial. May I speak to James? Oh, hello... I'm calling about the ad in the paper for a waitress... Well, I'm 6 ft tall with green eyes and legs that won't quit! There was a short pause and then her eyes lit up as she said, Great! I'll see you then.

She turned to Lynn. All right! I have an interview in an hour. Come and help me find something adventurous to wear.

Lynn giggled as they walked through the apartment to Jody's bedroom. Yes, it was going to be another interesting day. As expected, Jody tried on almost everything in her closet before deciding on black silk shorts, a low-cut red silk blouse and black stiletto heels. Despite her height, Jody loved heels... she loved the power she felt when she was eye-to-eye with a tall, successful man. And men loved Jody! Her auburn hair was natural, as many had learned, and Jody was without shame when it came to her sex life. Anything - Any time - Anywhere was her motto.

Lynn, at 5'6", with dark hair and eyes, drew far less attention. But, somehow, she found this comforting. Having been raised in an almost fanatically religious home, she was content to be on her own and able to experience life in a way that had been forbidden in her younger years. Jody helped spur her on to all types of new adventures, just by being Jody. The only advantage that she has over her tall, beautiful friend is the size of her breasts. When she chose to accentuate them in a low cut dress or tight T-shirt, men who's eyes were initially drawn to Jody's striking features often came to rest (and stay) on her instead. It didn't seem to bother Jody, however. In fact, she had suggested that they would make a good team if they ever decided to share a man. The thought was intriguing, but Lynn had never quite been able to accept the idea as plausible.

Jody's voice broke into her thoughts. Quit dreaming. If we don't hurry, we're going to be late!

What do you mean we? You're the one with the interview.

Lynn, you've got to come with me. This guy sounds fantastic on the phone. I want you to be there.

Lynn realized that arguing would be pointless. She never won an argument with Jody once Jody had her mind set on talking her into something. Okay, let's go.

As usual, Jody complained as she folded herself into Lynn's little blue Camero. Just what I need today - a ride in a sardine can!

Be quiet or I'll make you walk.

Their good natured bickering continued until they reached the address written on the scrap of paper Lynn was holding. The sign over the door, James' Place, marked a rather large pool hall on the back side of a non-descript shopping center. Wedged into a corner between a dry cleaner's and a restaurant, the blackened windows gave little hint as to what they would find inside. Parked in front of the door was a truck, a Ford 250 in a striking midnight blue.

Oh great, another cowboy! Lynn laughed as she remembered all the cowboys in Jody's past.

Of course, in Houston where they live, there are cowboys around every corner and Jody had found most of them. Come in with me, Jody pleaded.

Lynn frowned as she looked at her friend. Why, she was really nervous about this interview. Maybe Jody hadn't been quite truthful with her about her financial situation since she lost her last job. Her happy-go-lucky attitude might be masking real worries. Lynn had only brought up the subject once - with an offer of a loan if it were ever needed, but Jody dismissed the offer with a joke about how you should never loan money to a friend. Lynn's financial situation was fairly secure, thanks to a small inheritance from her father, who had died of a heart attack last year. Oh, she would have to find a job eventually, but she had the resources to take the summer off and enjoy life a little before taking on the responsibility of another job. No problem. Let's go.

As they walked through the door, they both stopped to let their eyes adjust to the relative darkness inside. After a minute, they could see a tall man behind the bar. A single small lamp shined on a ledger and it was several seconds before he looked up at
