It was strange waking up in Elliot's house.

He'd given me one of the guest bedrooms; not as lavish or beautifully furnished as some of the rooms in his mansion, but it still felt like luxury compared to my drafty apartment. On the bedside table I found a note from Elliot telling me he'd be out during the morning, but to make myself comfortable in the meantime.
