Is a Vegan diet right for you?
Only you can make that choice. This book is a guide for people who are intrigued by a plant-based lifestyle. Maybe you've read the irrefutable results from The China Study, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn or similar scientific research stating the overwhelming benefits of whole-food, plant-based nutrition. To read the information is inspiring, but to put it into practice in your own life may seem daunting. You have concerns, having friends over for dinner is just one of them.
I want you to succeed. Maybe you are one of the few who physically can't make it without animal based food in their diet. Just don't give up before you truly know that to be a fact. By reading this ebook and implementing the ideas you'll be in a better position to get through the obstacles that people face leading them to give up too soon. These challenges include meat and dairy withdrawals as well as societal pressures.
By eating a whole-food, plant-based diet, people notice their skin takes on a healthier glow, the aging process slows and their sleep is more restful. I lost 20 pounds and my weight is stable. If you want to have a strong, flexible body with the mental clarity to make wise decisions, a nutrient dense diet will help you. You'll be giving your body and mind the optimal support for physical and emotional healing. Whether you decide to go vegan or simply increase your dietary awareness I wish you well. Yes, I do have a bias. My intention is to make the vegan lifestyle as appealing and doable as possible so that you can realize better health, reduce violence to animals and help protect our environment. The side benefit to all of us is living on a planet with people who are happy, heathy and content.
I didn't know anyone else who had been on this journey or what to expect when I changed my diet. You might hear from well-intended people that the transition will be easy. It can be easy, but it's also a total mental paradigm shift. Transitioning from a fast-food, packaged diet
