About this ebook
I started experimenting with cake and biscuit recipes using alternatives in place of flour, mainly because my husband is now allergic to flour. I am now retired, but still like to do a lot of baking, so I decided to write this home made recipe book to help others in the same situation. Some people are allergic to eggs, therefore there are slices to make accordingly.
The main meals are very tasty and some are made using left over meat.(Pork and Lamb) Most of the ingredients would normally be found in your pantry or cupboard, so you do not have to go out and buy exotic ingredients.
The gravy's and sauces compliment most meats.
Several of these recipes can be frozen and stored for many weeks. (Soups, Casseroles, and main meals)
These recipes have been written in plain and simple English that everybody can understand, and there are a few illustrations to show what the end result should look like.

I am a retired confectioner, Baker, and Pastry Chef who still likes baking and cooking. My husband recently became intolerant of flour, so I have experimented with cooking using flour alternatives. I also hate waste, so I have devised a few recipes that use the leftovers from the previous day's cooking, to make cheap and nutritious meals, some that can be frozen and stored for future use. I am 65 years of age, and I live with my husband on the Gold Coast of Australia.

I dedicate this book to my Aunt Doris and Uncle Rowland, who took me in when I was 13 years old, treated me as their own and taught me all about Life.
They owned a Bakery in Blackpool England, and sent me to night school to learn their trade, and I eventually became a qualified Confectioner, Baker, and Pastry Chef. If they had not adopted me, I would not have learned the baking trade.
Doris and Rowland have long since passed on, but I think they knew how much I appreciated them and what they did to change my life.
