Michael Malone

Michael Malone is the author of ten novels, a collection of short stories and two works of nonfiction. Educated at Carolina and at Harvard, he is now a professor in Theater Studies at Duke University. Among his prizes are the Edgar, the O. Henry, the Writers Guild Award, and the Emmy. The Intro

In America we all love food. In Texas it is an obsession to make the biggest and baddest foods around. All across Texas there are many food establishments with foods of epic proportions. Texas is a huge state, with huge foods to fit its size. This is a book of a lot of the crazy big foods in Texas, many of the foods are food challenges and prizes/awards are given for completing the challenges. This is the first book in an ongoing series of food challenged and other foods of ridiculous portions. This book is meant for fun and no where close to being a health book of any kind.
