JOE'S BEEF STEW RECIPE3 pounds pastured stewing beef3 cups of beef stock (or 2 cups stock and 1 cup wine)1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar1 medium onion, chopped3 stalks of celery, roughly chopped3 large carrots, peeled and chopped3-5 small potatoes, cubed (optional)1 to 3 cloves of garlic, minced (adjust according to your taste)1 tablespoon of paprika3 bay leaves1/2 teaspoon of salt1/2 teaspoon of black pepper1 teaspoon each dried rosemary, basil, and oregano2 tbsp chili powder2 tbsp ground cumin1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
This isrecipe is so easy and well rounded (from both a macronutrient and micronutrient point of view) and you don't have to cook for a couple of days after making it. Throw all ingredients into the slow cooker for 8 hours and EAT! BOOM!
