About this audiobook

Darkness is descending on the small town of Rio Verde, Arizona. An evil older than time is rising from the desert, waiting for night to fall and a reign of terror to begin...

Brad Woods has performed a lot of autopsies, but never one like this. The body is purged of all blood.

Fear has made Sue Wing run from the darkened school and into night, a fear so powerful she can only name it using the Cantonese myths of her grandmother: Cup-hu-girngsi... the corspe who drinks blood.

Reporters like Rich Carter don't believe in the supernatural, but all the signs are pointing to the same conclusion: a vampire is stalking the streets of Rio Verde.

No, Rich Carter doesn't believe in such things. Not yet. But he will come to believe with a faith borne of horror after horror...

Bentley little threw everything but the kitchen sink at this one. It has it all including myth buster explanations, gross vivid scenarios that make you go to yourself, did I really just read that? Tough moral encounters followed by extreme human or even not so human depravity. Us horror buffs know Bentley Little and appreciate his kind of work, what you don't know is how a good narrator can elevate a story even higher. That's what happened here. OVER THE TOP.

Nowhere near as boring as Gloria, thankfully. Listen to The Store.

Well written characters and a very visual impression of horror left in your mind.

Absolutely an abomination! Playing on Jesus and his teachings. Worst is his gratuitous and abhorrent Sexual scenes! Having intercourse with the subjects daughter! Hope I never meet Bentley Little, a true little man! Shame on Steven King for promoting him, no more King for me. JP

My short response is that this book is the absolute worse on so many, many levels. If your idea of horror is repulsion, go for it.
