I started off reading the ebook, then saw there was an audio version and switched to that. I loved the story as a whole and the mention of Alex and her guys running parallel to the story. Im looking forward to their cameo/crossover. The only complaint I have is that I liked the VA that's doing Cyn's voice, but a guy VA for the guys' voices would have been so much better. whether dual or she do all voices in her ch pov and the guy does all in the chapters from the guys pov would have made it sooo much better. Her guy's voice isn't bad, and if it was an MF book with not as many voices, it would have been fine, but so many voices kind of blended together. Definitely not enough to make me not listen, I've definitely had that happen where the voices were just that terrible, and i dnf. But I also didn't enjoy the guys pov as much as i wanted to. an additional voice like Joe Arden or Lucas Webley would have knocked it out of the park and elevated the audiobooks that much more. But I still enjoyed the read/listen and am looking forward to the next addition. Hopefully, the author goes for the gold and gets a guy to help out. Even if I have to wait a bit longer for it, it would be worth it.
