I think perhaps the narration to the novel lets it down slightly. This is the second novel I’ve listened to by this author and the same person narrated both. The storylines were very similar so I don’t expect to listen to any others. The narration made the characters quite flat and eventually quite annoying. It’s ok for when you’re driving. No major plot twists to worry about.

Gave up. No good if you like hearing all of the sentences. I understand inflection, but making a thoughtful lowering at end of sentence should still be legible. The last few words are so quiet, even with a Bluetooth speaker and full volume, you can't hear. Had story have been more gripping, I would have persevered. I don't give up easily, but this one got me.

I enjoy her writing, and the plot was good. (Well, maybe a little thin at the climax). The narrator was good also, but the engineers could have improved the reading: her voice gets quite soft towards the end of most sentences, too quiet for me to pick up the last two words or so - most annoying. Will definitely be reading more of her material. Thank you for an enjoyable read.

Scribd needs to figure out what’s going on with their audio issues. Like this author. Good narrator. Couldn’t hear half of every sentence.

I’m not sure why I didn’t like this book-the story was fairly compelling but I feel the author other books are better. The narrator did a great job ?

Unbelievable listened to the whole thing and then at the vital part where the stalker was breaking in, the narration skipped on to a scene in the bedroom. This left out who the stalker was and what their motive was!!!! What a waste of my time…. It was a good story up until then.
Does anyone know who she was and why she hated Frankie?
