Gemma Rogers

Gemma Rogers was inspired to write gritty thrillers by a traumatic event in her own life nearly twenty years ago. Her debut novel Stalker was published in September 2019 and marked the beginning of a new writing career. Gemma lives in West Sussex with her husband and two daughters.

Gemma Rogers is a great author, but this book is absolutely terrible. The main character is an absolute moron and the plot is just plain gross. 39 year old sad wife f*cks a teenage boy - EW. The amount of times I said "gross" and "God, you're dumb" out loud, I lost count of. Swing and a HUGE miss, seriously don't bother with this book.

I am so happy that i am done with this book so i can finally give it the Lowest rating possible
Please do not waste your time
I forced myself to finish it just to be sure that it was terrible till the end and so i could be confident in my rating
I am shocked this book has a pretty good rating on Good reads. Perhaps its because of the sex scenes …
The book is about a 39 year-old teachers’ affair with an 18 -year old student.
She is married and a mother as well.
I hope that storyline tells you all you need to know.
Furthermore the book is so repetitive, i thought the author was keeping something special for the end .But alas nothing,no twist, no grand finale, lool
Needless to say I would be avoiding this author from now on

This was terrible. Was the main character for real? Missing the point entirely of the real wrong she was engaged in. And it was just a number of similar incidents happening over and over again. The last book I listened to of this author was great but this was very disappointing.
