    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Widow by Valerie Keogh was a mad, mad, mad journey! There are so many calculations, so many manipulations, so much going on!
I found it hard to connect with the first part and was constantly questioning - what the hell is going on? But the second part comes in with more clearer message and things sort of fall into place.
There was still back and forward confusion but once things settled down, it was good.

I liked it as I didn't predict any of the crazy things that happened and up to the last sentence I was sitting on the edge begging not to ki|| the story in a cheap way.
I do get it when readers say it was a bit out of the order but in my opinion, this is what made this book good!
All Alison wanted was to settle down comfortably, and have love and attention and this is what was driven her to make choices... good or bad ones... Unfortunitelly her life goes out of order when her husband Peter is found dead! Noone could prepare her for things that were coming!

I know, some of you will think it is silly but I will say it was brilliant!
