This is how you write a fun rom-com novella!! Kimberley Lemmings has once again hit it out of the park, the funniest and most fun you'll have with a monster romance!

This was almost a 4 star novella - but points had to be deducted for the useless subplot with the female monster cat who hated that she did not get all the attention anymore. Not a big fan of that women jealousy trope.

Other than that, it was fun and cute and spicy. And great for a sicky human to get lost into.

Mistlefoe is book 1.5 in the Mead Mishaps series by Kimberly Lemming! Lemming has quickly become one of my favorite romance authors because her fantasy romances are cute, funny, and spicy. This is about Ruby, a blacksmith, who's father has become cursed for stealing minerals from a local fox demon. The curse on Ruby's father makes it so every weapon her family makes (they are blacksmiths) ends up being a sentient weapon with a rude and insulting personality. Ruby decides that she's going to go and confront the fox demon and ask for forgiveness.

This was really short, I believe it was 60 pages and the audiobook was two hours long (it took one hours to listen to because I listened to it on 1.5x times speed.)

The spice in this was nice, I'm giving this 4 chilies out out 5 chilies ?️?️?️?️worth of spice.
