Save the date...!

Olivia can’t believe it when her boyfriend, Teddy, proposes out of the blue. She loves him (of course she does!) BUT it does seem sudden, especially when they don’t even live together yet…

There is only one place that Olivia has ever wanted to get married - a gorgeous venue on the Cornish coast, built by her grandfather. The problem is they only have one date available - and it's only a few weeks away! Olivia isn't so sure about rushing but Teddy jumps at the chance to be married within the month.

Thrown into a whirlwind of wedding planning, alarm bells start to ring for Olivia. Are they doing this for the right reasons? Why is Teddy in such a rush? And when he fails to help with any part of the preparations, Olivia must find help elsewhere, with unexpected results...

As the countdown begins, will the wedding go ahead? Or will Olivia find that her future happiness lies elsewhere...?

Let me start with the fact that I absolutely love Karen Cass' voice and skills and I would absolutely read any book she narrates. It also helps that Portia is a fantastic writer, and all her books and the method of writing are amazing, but oh my God, did this book get me in the feelings??!!!
I was so caught up and pissed for Olivia and all the crap she had to put up with with Ted, his family, and Eden. I had to remind myself that this is a story, and I don't need to get all worked up.
Nevertheless, this was a good one, and Hugo>>>>>>>❤️

When her fiancé's job takes precedence over their upcoming wedding, Olivia wonders if he's as committed to their relationship as he claims to be.

I loved this book: the humor, the captivating setting on the Cornish coast, the unique and fully developed characters, the romantic and fast-paced plot. It's a smart, emotional, relatable story of people trying to do their best and sometimes failing. Overall, it's a fun and satisfying read that left me smiling.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

O normally don't like wedding themed stuff but I made an assertion for my favourite author it was fun bit frustrating eden was a real bridezilla and the book never really addressed the issue. She suddenly turned good towards the end. So proud of live for getting out of the wedding pressure was on she and Hugo are so cute I was so surprised to learn that he was a hotel owner

Cute, but too many implausible actions/non-actions by main character. I do appreciate the clean style.
