I enjoyed this book. The best narration of her books thus far.

This story was everything! Smart. Sexy and full of humor. The author brought her A game!

I enjoyed this black sci-love. It was just too short. I wanted more. Loved the narration. I am a Winston James fan and now a new fan of J Shani Michaels

This is a short novel and yet it feels so through and complete. It’s a paranormal, fantasy romances which is definitely not my norm. It grabs your attention from the beginning and doesn’t let up until the end.

This was okay. I didn't like how Temple punched Sampson in the face at one point, domestic violence isn't funny or cute.

I mean, it was ok for what it was, but I immediately compared this to ACOTAR. The telepathy and teleportation or whatever you call it. The miracle healing. Being a God/godess. It's Wakanda meets ACOTAR.
Since it was only 14 chapters, I finished it. If it was any longer, it would be a DNF

I commend Ms House on delivering another literary masterpiece. My favorite aspect of “Sanctuary…” was the chemistry and timeless love story of Sam & Temple. Thereafter though, the immorality & random telekinesis was weird.

I enjoyed the book and, although I love some profanity (lol don't judge me), some of the cursing felt unnecessary and unnatural, if that makes any sense.
