I feel like the book had no actual plot. The entire book was just about the hero and heroine having sex. I didn’t feel any real connection other than pure infatuation on the hero’s part.

Honestly one of the most satisfying mafia romances I've read. Dark and sexy, but also with a heroine who stands up for herself and a hero (anti hero?) who meets her at every step. The author doesn't hold back on the dark side, but also gives the main characters emotional moments that felt very true to their development over the duology and hit just the right way because of that build up. Really enjoyed this one a lot.
