I feel like four stars is a generous rating, but I'm giving it that because for what it is (just a quietly sweet, clean book) it had refreshingly unique characters and story line. Here and there I found the humor to be a little trite and predictable, but at one point I was laughing out loud, which I NEVER do.

I thought the narration by Greg Tremblay was excellent. This was my first Rich Amooi book, and I will definitely try others when I need an easy read, or a break from heavier reading.
