‘I really want to champion the creative arts in Soho… We’re in a position to give something back’
Fawn James doesn’t appear to fit the mould of a hard-nosed property magnate. Heavily pregnant when she meets HELLO! (she gave birth to her second child shortly after our photoshoot in December), she has a warm smile, unassuming manner and an interest in artistic projects that aren’t entirely dictated by profit – including the Boulevard theatre, which she recently opened in London’s Soho. It is the first phase of her master plan for the capital’s once most notorious district.
