I always love reading Theodora books. She never disappoints. The love story between Lena and Keane was breathtaking at times, heartbreaking at times with a HEA at the end. I love the way Theodore captured being secretly in like/love in high school. It felt so real and genuine. I especially love, Max’s storyline. Kudos to Theodora!!! Being a mother and a social worker, my heart was overjoyed with your development of Max’s character. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. PS, I actually read the last book first and then decided to start from the beginning which it didn’t matter because they could be read independently and you still will get the full experience.?

An alpha doesn't have to be an asshole.
This guy is and I didn't hear anything to change my mind start to finish. No redeeming qualities and nothing to love about him. Heroine comes off as a weak minded ninny.

I loved this story, and I am not a fan of bully romances in the least. This read more like a series of near misses, wrong timing, and immature feelings. Those continued, some to a larger extent than others, as past traumas and events are dealt with, current barriers are overcome, and mistakes continue to be made. No easy answers or solutions exist for these two, everything is a struggle, a fight, or something in their way. Even when things seem clear, it becomes cloudy. It makes the moment they both let go and let things happen all the sweeter, all the more perfect, and the very best for them both <3
