When I first started this book I was ready to stop as it came across as the first season of Schitt’s Creek. Few chapters later, I started to like it and even was glad I continued. The ending was a bit sappy and felt like a bad hallmark movie.

A nice little christmassy book that finds the right balance between light-hearted drama and important discussions about mental health. Definitely recommended if you like a holiday themed rom com to spice up the season!!

This book was so cute and gave me serious Schitt's Creek/David Rose vibes, which I LOVED!

The Muppet Christmas Carol is hands down the best adaptation, so I vibed well with that ?

Overall, it was a sweet and heartfelt Christmas story with great representation, and I thoroughly enjoyed it ?

I wanted to love this one SO BAD but I had to DNF at the 3/4 point. I was SO bored. I didn’t see any chemistry between the protagonist and love interest and the love interest was SO bland. The book isn’t terrible, I would watch it if it was a 90 minute cheesy Christmas movie, but I don’t want to invest the hours into finishing the book.
