I want to like this series because the story line is unique, but I can NOT stand how Haley is written. She whines nonstop, and is a weak lead. The narrator for Haley is awful and her accents are awful, making the whiny main character unbearable! For the most part I like her mates characters, and their voices are fine. Though the mates inner monologues are also a bit whiny. The accents used by the narrator for the teachers and dads are worse than the whining Haley.

I’m going to try reading the next book instead of doing audio, because again the storyline itself is good! This writer needs to go with a better narrator, and get away from whining characters.
