About this audiobook

Can he turn one night into forever?

After being ditched only weeks before her wedding, Cassie Stackwell wasn’t out looking for a hookup. Then the devastatingly handsome bartender she’d been trying not to obsess over for months offered to give her a ride home. What could one night hurt?

When his future was almost taken away after one impulsive decision, wolf-shifter and ex-con Jace Miller waited patiently for months before making a move on the woman he knew to be his destined mate. But will one night of passion keep his little human by his side once she learns of his world and the danger it brings to her doorstep?

I liked how the main female character in the story actually took her time to figure out what direction she wanted to go with her life. She didn't instantly sex whipped or instantly fall in love just because they had sex.
I didn't like how soft they made the main male character. He's supposed to be an Alpha male. The fact that he knew she was in danger should have kept him close to her. He just easily walked away while she was recovering. As an alpha, he should have been strong about finding out why she shot him. I felt like those few chapters were just to make the book a bit longer.
The ending was great and was a good build up to any additional books.
