About this audiobook
“Highly recommend this book and series! Sarah Peis’s books are light hearted but steamy... Definitely need to add her to your must read authors’ list!” Goodreads reviewer
When her fiancé cheats on her, Maisie Slater decides to make some changes in her life. After dumping the man she thought she’d spend the rest of her life with, she’s fixing everything that went wrong during the aftermath of her devastation.
But getting herself back on track isn’t easy. And this time, she is determined not to let anything distract her. Not even successful, rich, and rock-your-socks-off handsome Oliver Thorpe. Who also happens to be her roommate’s brother and entirely off-limits.
Is Maisie repeating past mistakes and risking everything she is fighting so hard for, or could Oliver be her happily-ever-after?
This is a Sweet Dreams novella and the prequel to Some Call It Fate.
Note from the author: In order not to get kicked out of the good (okay goodish.... fine, sometimes good) girls club, I’d like to point out that this is a steamy romcom and my characters use bad language (sometimes) and like to get it on. There’s no cheating and all my books have a HEA.

Reviews for Kismet

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Updated review: Kismet is actually the prequel to Some Call it Fate, Book 3 in the Sweet Dreams series. At the time I read Kismet, the order of this series was incorrect in Scribd. I’d recommend you reference www.SarahPeis.com for the correct book order in the Sweet Dreams series. I’m looking forward to starting Book One, Some Call it Love! My original review remains unchanged below.
This is my first read by Sarah Peis, and I found myself invested in the characters right away! Written in first person from the heroine Maisie’s pov, Peis’ style was highly engaging. As a prequel, there’s no resolution…but the primary characters and conflict, as well as other related elements in the series are developed to a degree that sets the stage for the next book. Narration was great! I highly recommend the series, based on the prequel!
