If significant, why? The h was a super doormat, spoiled, whiney and constantly flip-flopping. I am about to graduate from Yale with a theater degree and no business classes or experience yet I can run a billion dollar company... Really?

The back story... The h is in her last week of school prior to graduating when she gets the news that her father passed away. She goes back to Vegas and finds out that she is required to marry the interim CEO within 6 months but she thinks that she should run their Casinos.

The Romance... Just instalust

The drama explosion... Grandfather ends up in the hospital and then the cliffhanger happens.

Final Notes... I am sure that the h will get 'stronger' through the next two books but my guess is that means stubborn or obstinate and likely to make stupid decisions.

Final Notes... I feel like I am killing serious brain cells. Authors: Please do simple research. A high powered law firm is not going to accept evidence as valid unless they review it and THEY WILL NEVER TELL A CLIENT that they should consider a plea deal under those circumstances. When leaving a court hearing, the FBI agent is not going to be stupid enough to follow the h and then do anything in public.

1. The H refuses to confide in anyone from the h to the FBI.
2. The h finds info, then insults the H in a letter, then takes off to infiltrate the sex traffickers.
3. The H ends up in jail and confides to a criminal in his cell (could be a plant or worse).
4. Tons of other issues.
5. Sex while in captivity
6. Sex right before the final battle
7. So much head babble between comments that I could skip forward as much as 5 minutes to get the response!

was great. Everything, including narration of characters and unexpected twists in the story was first rate. I cared about main characters.

Book 2 (complete series )was anticlimactic.

It was a rather odd and unbelievable story. Although their love was convincing, some of the storyline was twisted and unrealistic. I finished it, but felt like giving up multiple times throughout the series.
