This was a surprisingly good book. I have never read this author before but wanted to try the series. I love how it starts with a murder mystery. Catherine Archer is running for her life and trying to keep away from shifters. She lands in Blackstone where she meets Twins Matthew and Jason Lennox and the rest of the family. Matthew realizes she's his mate and sets on a mission to make her his. In the meantime Catherine is not having it and has one foot out the door at all times. This was a good start to the series because you get to meet all the family members of the Lennox family who are all shifters but shockingly not all dragons. I loved that… it was a blended shifter family. The story is really ? HOT and also very intriguing.

really enjoyed this book and the series that follows it, loved the development of the characters and the world they live in, great mix of romance, fated mates, family drama, action and suspense. was not disappointed by being taken into a world of hot men looking for their happy forever afters ?
