I was 1 second away from dismissing this book when I realised it featured young teens. I'm really not into that whole Twilight vibe and prefer listening to books with older adults, however I just couldn't bring myself to tab out, I kept waiting for something to annoy me to give me the reason to do so, but one never came.
The writing is absolutely fantastic and had this writer's work have been made into a movie, it would be one of my very favourite's and a bigger hit than the lame Twilight!
The character's, the details, and the book's setting are fascinating, I was so sad to know that this was only going to be a 3 hour book, so I savoured every blissful second!
Another thing which makes this great listen is the fact that the writer is also the narrator so this gives everything a lot more passion and understanding. I also liked the Smokey tone of the man's voice *Purr's*
All in all, I was super impressed with this and I got way more than the titillating smut-fest that I had wrongly assumed this would be!
I'm going to listen to the writer's entire library!

The author was also the narrator. I was expecting it to crash and burn - but thought I’d give it a go as it was only a short audio book.
