About this audiobook

After learning he has only months to live, Gemini Fowler is granted one shot to cheat death when a billionaire game-developer offers to transfer his consciousness into a virtual realm using a technology that could end death as we know it.

The catch:

The only current VR with the capability to receive him is the unreleased video game, Enora Online, and Gemini must survive until level ten or be completely wiped from the servers… and existence.

Welcome to Enora Online, where virtual is reality.

Terrible book. The MC gets two female companions that are overly sexualized. One of them even says I don't want to be more wise because I might not find him to be more attractive. Like could you have a more flat character that just obsesses over the MC. They even take a nap together where both the female characters are naked. Sexualization that doesn't advance the plot in a book is just bad writing. The book feels like a fan service heading toward a harem.

I read the first two books, the first had problems but was promising, so I read the second. The issues I noticed in the first book only got worse in the second. This series was not well-thought-out, especially considering that the game world should have been designed by an artificial intelligence far beyond human understanding. There are so many issues with setting the game world, many of which are just plain stupid. Some of these issues would cause enough issues that once more players joined the world, it would implode within a year. They should have done a lot more research on MMORPGs and world-building in general to give the story a solid foundation. This is such a common issue in these types of books, I don't understand why it still happens. Don't these authors want to write a good book? DO SOME RESEARCH! Read similar books to find out what others have done, for better or worse. Create spreadsheets of everything, XP, attributes, spells, gold and silver value of everything. It can be boring to do, but it only needs to be done once, and it avoids rookie mistakes that make the story look lousy. The second issue is that it's dragging in a lot of places, and I'm not getting to the basics. I quickly found myself reading long and boring passages.
The MC should have been written as a casual gamer as he certainly doesn't have the smarts, instincts or knowledge to be a pro. If I don't like a book, I won't leave a review, or it's very short. If I write a review that fits into a book like this, it's because I like the general idea or the characters, which I mostly do in these two books. It's so frustrating when something is so close to being great but not nearly as good.

Kept my attention, solid PG13 rating as there is one suggestive quest, but not graphic.

I have read a lot of books in this genre, and this is by far the best. I am so pleased that there is a book to drive straight back into. I don’t think twice dive in and you won’t regret it.?

Definitely was hooked by the end of chapter 1, on book 3 at this time and completely enthralled. Similar premise to Awaken online but minus the immersion pods, and somewhat more permanent. If you ever liked an RPG game, or a fantasy book, you will enjoy this.

A++ narration and great story too.

What a wonderful story. Has some sex references but mostly PG. Overall a truly immersive story and world. I want a threesome chapter. ?

Great start to the series! It had me waiting with bated breath many times throughout. The story flows well but also surprises. Each character is thoughtfully crafted. I've been excited by the idea of the litrpg genre since discovering it but have had poor luck finding a well crafted storyline to keep my attention. I've finally found one that is genuinely well crafted and written. The narrator has great depth to his voice and is quite versatile. I highly recommend if you are looking for an exciting litrpg adventure!

Enjoyed the first book. The idiotic choices of the MC make it hard to listen at times and the narration is a bit flat.

Amazing. Thank you for the great read I wish there was an actual video game similar to Enora. Because I could just get lost in playing a game like this

Classic Litrpg, with hints of adult humor! What else does anyone want? There where a few things that stood out I did not like that leaves me to drop a 9/10 star review!
